January 1, 1970 a five vehicle caravan consisting of EJ & Marian Black and their three sons Dennis, Perry and Ed rolled into Anaheim, CA. from Pittsburgh, PA. At that time, the 91 freeway was a two-lane highway. As paint contractors in Pennsylvania, our dream to build a family business in beautiful Southern California was just beginning to come true. By the mid 70's we opened our first home decorating center on Alicia Parkway in Laguna Hills. 1" aluminum mini blind were just coming onto the market and within 5 years we had 6 stores and became one of Orange Counties largest window covering retailers thru the 70's and 80's. By the 90's the market changed to 'Shop at Home" and we changed right along with it.

We are currently at the Orange County Market Place on the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. We are there every Saturday and Sunday in space F-213 - F-217. We show our full product line which consist of window coverings, retractable screen doors, epoxy garage floors and wood works (build-ins, crown molding, entertainment centers, etc.). During the week we are busy with FREE In-Home estimates, consultations and installations.

Shutters have always been a constant in our product line and with our large buying power we offer a high quality shutter at a extremely low price.

We have been offering retractable screen doors for over 10 years. With our constant effort to carry the best products available for our customers we have found Mirage Screen Systems to be the best operating retractable screen door on the market with virtually no re-screening needed.
